Kenny Chesney Finishes Work on Concert Film, Begins Recording for Next Album
Kenny Chesney has finished work on his upcoming concert film, Summer in 3-D, which comes out April 21st. With the movie in the can, Kenny recently got back to his first love -- making music. He's been in the studio lately with longtime co-producer Buddy Cannon recording songs he had a hand in writing as well as tunes from other big-name writers. Says Kenny, "The biggest challenge is trying to decide which songs take you new places without losing sight of where you've been -- to find those moments that say something about who you are, and how your fans are living life."
Kenny's current single, "Ain't Back Yet," is included on the re release of his Greatest Hits Two album, along with his ESPN College Football song "This is Our Moment." A release date hasn't been announced for his upcoming studio album just yet, but Kenny is sure his fans will latch on to the new music quickly: "I know this next record is something they're really gonna love."
