Members of Maroon 5 & Train To Perform At Tonight's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

This year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place Monday night in New York City, and some younger artists have been invited to pay tribute to some of the honorees by performing.  Train's Pat Monahan has been tapped to perform "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress," a classic song by inductees The Hollies.  Faith Hill will sing the songs of inductees Abba, and Maroon 5's Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichhael will also be taking the stage, though it hasn't been announced which act they'll honor with their performance.  Genesis, Iggy Pop's band The Stooges and reggae star Jimmy Cliff are this year's other inductees.

Train's Pat Monahan told us the Hollies' original lead singer is no longer able to perform "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress" effectively, so one of the show's producers asked him to do it.  Even though the ceremony takes place on one of the few days off Pat has from Train's current tour, he jumped at the chance.  He says, "If you go to iTunes and listen to Hollies songs, I mean, there are some amazing songs...so to be able to sing Hollies songs with those guys, that's just an honor. I'm ready to go."

At Monday night's ceremony, which will air on Fuse starting at 8:30 p.m. ET, Green Day will induct The Stooges, Wyclef Jean will induct Jimmy Clif, the two remaining members of The Bee Gees, Robin and Barry Gibb, will induct Abba.  Little Steven Van Zandt of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band will induct The Hollies and Trey Anastasio of the jam band Phish will induct Genesis.
